The FlowGrow 6 Layer hydroponic tower brings 18 planting sites into a compact space, making it a great starting point for growing fresh herbs, salad greens and seasonal favourites at home. Perfect for smaller spaces, sunny decks and sheltered balcony’s and outdoor areas.

Your tower can grow too. Start with six layers and add 3 Layer Tower Extensions whenever you’re ready for more growing room, up to 45 planting sites.

Assembly takes around 20 minutes, with helpful growing guides and friendly New Zealand support whenever you need it.

How FlowGrow works

FlowGrow is a recirculating hydroponic tower.

Add water and nutrients to the reservoir. The pump lifts nutrient water to the Flow Cap, where it flows gently past the roots before returning to the reservoir to circulate again.

The timer manages the watering cycle automatically.

What can you grow?

FlowGrow vertical hydroponic tower gardens work well for herbs, leafy greens, strawberries, and other compact plants suited to home hydroponic growing.

Yes. FlowGrow is designed to feel approachable for first-time growers while still supporting long-term growing as your confidence builds.

Many people start with herbs and leafy greens before experimenting with other plants over time.

Where should I place it?

FlowGrow grows best in a bright indoor position or sheltered outdoor area with good natural light.

A sunny window, covered patio, deck, or balcony can all work well depending on conditions.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes, provided the tower receives enough natural sunlight. Bright indoor spaces tend to work best for herbs and leafy greens.

If natural light is limited, compatible grow lights may also help support growth.

How noisy is the pump?

The pump runs quietly and is designed for home environments. Most people notice only the gentle sound of flowing water, similar to a small water feature.

How much power does the system use?

The FlowGrow tower uses a low-voltage 12V DC pump (6W), powered by the included 12V adaptor. The automatic timer controls the watering cycle, so the pump only runs for short intervals throughout the day, keeping electricity use low.

What can I grow in it?

FlowGrow is ideal for leafy greens, herbs, strawberries and many compact vegetables. With the right care and support, you can also grow fruiting plants such as tomatoes, chillies and capsicums using FlowGrow Bloom Nutrients once they begin flowering.

Can I extend my tower later?

Yes. FlowGrow extension sections are available separately if you’d like to expand your growing space over time.
