FlowGrow Limited Warranty

Effective Date: 24 February 2026

FlowGrow hydroponic tower systems are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

This warranty applies when the product has been assembled, used, and maintained in accordance with the supplied FlowGrow setup, care, and growing instructions.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

What This Warranty Covers

If a manufacturing defect is identified within 12 months of purchase, FlowGrow will assess the issue and, where appropriate, may:

• Provide a replacement part
• Repair the defective component
• Replace the product or affected component
• Offer another suitable solution in line with New Zealand consumer law

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover damage, faults, or issues caused by:

• Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
• Incorrect assembly or improper setup
• Failure to follow care, cleaning, or operating instructions
• Incorrect nutrient mixing or unsuitable additives
• Blocked, dirty, or poorly maintained pumps, hoses, or flow components
• Unauthorised modifications or repairs
• Use with non-compatible parts, accessories, or power supplies
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by weather exposure, flooding, freezing, strong wind, or unsuitable placement
• Plant loss, poor plant growth, crop failure, or growing results affected by light, temperature, water quality, plant type, or user care
• Consumable products such as nutrients, seeds, planting sponges, rockwool, growing media, or pH test strips, once used or opened

Pumps, Timers, and Electrical Components

Included pumps, timers, and power adaptors are covered against manufacturing defects under normal use.

Electrical components must be used as instructed and protected from unsuitable outdoor exposure, heavy rain, water ingress, or unsafe power conditions. Damage caused by incorrect use, water ingress, power surges, modification, or failure to follow instructions may not be covered by this warranty.

Growing Results

FlowGrow is designed to help you grow fresh food at home, but growing results depend on real home conditions.

Plant growth can be affected by light levels, season, temperature, water quality, plant choice, nutrient strength, pH, maintenance, and general care.

For this reason, FlowGrow does not guarantee specific crop yields, growth speed, plant success, or harvest results.

Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

This limited warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and any other applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Under New Zealand consumer law, goods must meet certain guarantees, including acceptable quality and fitness for purpose where applicable.

Nothing in this warranty limits or replaces your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

If the product is purchased for business or commercial use, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may not apply where legally permitted.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your FlowGrow product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us by email.

Please include:

• Your name and order number
• Proof of purchase
• Date of purchase
• A clear description of the issue
• Photos or video showing the issue
• Photos of the full product setup where relevant

We aim to respond within 1 to 2 business days and may ask for additional information so we can assess the issue properly.

Assessment and Resolution

FlowGrow may need to inspect photos, videos, product parts, or usage details before confirming whether a fault is covered by this warranty.

If the issue is covered, we will work with you to provide a suitable remedy, which may include repair, replacement parts, product replacement, or another appropriate solution.

If the issue is not covered by this warranty, we may still be able to help with troubleshooting, replacement parts, or support advice.
